summer camp
join us for our 15th annual, “art journey around the world” in your home through september 4th!
registration is underway for our artmix to-go program. we have prepared artmix to-go kits for each student with everything they need to enjoy skill building & creative fun, and make masterpieces inspired by artists from a new destination each week.
registration is open to students from all over the world, ages teens & tweens, artists ages 7-10 & artists ages 4-6. we offer curbside pick-up, home delivery & shipping.
advance registration is required and is available online for each week of camp. registration is for the whole week. students who would like to join us by-the-day can purchase individual artmix to-go kits in our to-go shop, for curbside pick-up or home delivery, & join us in our zoom camp sessions.
zoom studio sessions: students joining us from home will be able to create with us in our zoom studio camp sessions monday – friday. we will send our students the zoom id each week for these sessions.
our 10:00am zoom session will coordinate with the projects featured in our morning camp. the 1:00pm & 4:00pm sessions will coordinate with our afternoon camp & projects.
seesaw:
our weekly camp curriculum & additional resources for our students are available online in seesaw. we will send our students a weekly email with the login information, so they can review the plans for the week, and prepare for each day of camp.
curriculum:
each day of the week, students will learn about the art & culture of the featured destination in camp. they will draw, paint & sculpt throughout the week and learn age appropriate art history & geography with each project. students will experiment with all of art elements, and we will combine them all in the masterpieces they make on friday!
monday: a world of color
tuesday: sculptures and forms of all media and sizes
wednesday: textures of all kinds
thursday: lines & shapes
friday: put all the elements together! students will make masterpieces incorporating all of the elements learned during the week.
zoom studio times beginning the week of august 17th:
morning zoom studio camp: 10:00am -11:00am, monday – friday.
afternoon zoom studio camp: 1:00pm & 4:00pm, monday – friday.
next week will be our final week of summer camp 2020:
week 15 (august 31- september 4th): art from over the world (to-go camp)
artmix summer camp supply kit: whether your student is joining us in our studio or at home, our summer camp to-go kits have everything students need to make their masterpieces and for the whole week of camp. kits will include age appropriate supplies for each student. supplies include: canvas & watercolor paper surfaces; acrylic, watercolor & gouache paint; watercolor pencils, oil pastels, chalk pastels, markers & more; clay, additional sculpting materials, & more! upon registration, we will make arrangements for kits to be delivered via curbside pick-up, home delivery & shipping for each of our students.
artmix to-go summer camp: monday – friday, through september 4th. for students 3-5, 6-9, & 10-tweens & teens.
morning camp or afternoon camp: monday – friday, $250.00 per week. registration includes our summer camp to-go box filled with all of the supples your student needs to make the five featured masterpieces for the week. we will have zoom sessions at 10:00am for our morning camp students and at 1:00pm for our afternoon camp students.
artmix summer camp to-go kit delivery: curbside pick-up & local home delivery is complimentary. shipping options are available & will be invoiced separately.
